II. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

Goals of the Academic Unit

1. To achieve and maintain the development of the citizenship as mandated in the Philippine constitution.
2. To implement the teachers education curriculum in order to promote and foster the holistic development of the person.
3. To equip teachers with the ideals of patriotism and altruism as exemplified by the Philippine national heroes.
4. To provide teachers with the background of liberal arts and other special fields for a more comprehensive appreciation of global interdependence.

Objectives/Outcomes of the Program

General Objective:

To prepare competent teachers of the future who are capable of performing the task of nation building and adequately competitive to the demands of globalization for the promotion of life.

Specific Objectives:

1. To undertake the mandate of educating the young for useful citizenship.
2. To ground teachers with traditions of Philippines life to understand better and improve cultural development in the future.
3. To conduct research and extension activities to disseminate the school’s role in the development of communities and generate innovations for the well-being of all.
4. To boost the school’s passing percentage in the licensure examination for teachers as a certification of the quality and excellence.
5. To update the school’s teaching standards and internal capabilities for quality delivery system.
